The Royal Mail has created a variety of schemes, giving you flexibility to choose the one that meets your mailing requirements. Use QAS Mailsort with the following options:

Mailsort 1400
Mail is sorted into one of the 1,400 Royal Mail slection areas and bagged up. Minimum mail quantity of 4,000 (2,000 if in the same postcode area) required.

Mailsort 700
Mail is bar-coded and correctly addressed for faster sorting by the Royal Mail. Minimum mail quantity of 10,000 items required. Greater flexibility in the design of envelopes. Particularly beneficial for direct mail.

Mailsort 120
Mailings must have OCR or bar code. Only need to sort to the Royal Mail's residue level. To use this scheme a minimum of 4,000 postage items are required.

Walksort
Mail is sorted to the level of individual UK postal walks. Suitable if you send bulk mail to specific areas or locations. The minimum mailing size for this scheme is 2,000.

Presstream
Similar to Mailsort 1,400 for newspapers, newsletters, magazines and journals. Machine sorting does not need to be undertaken by the Royal Mail, so you can save over 10% on mailing such publications.

In order to benefit from the Mailsort discounts offered, certain criteria must be met:

Mail must be pre-sorted
