Experian Credit Risk Summit 2009
In May, Experian hosted its Credit Risk Summit. The event brought together over 100 senior delegates in credit risk management from across the UK, with Experian thought leaders and contributions from a number of highly respected and experienced industry and political heavyweights. It was fast-paced, thought provoking and, from feedback received, a highly valuable and worthwhile experience for all present.
On 21 May, a Welcome Dinner was held with Lord Lamont, former Chancellor of the Exchequer, as an after-dinner speaker. The Summit took place the following day and offered a rich combination of issue-led keynote speakers discussing key market dynamics and interactive breakout sessions:
- Risk Forum: this session was hosted by a team of experts who lead interactive thought leadership discussions around adapting credit strategies to maximise opportunities in the current environment
- Collections Forum: this session brought together collections professionals to focus on opportunities to improve debt collection and recovery rates and maximise cash flow
- CAIS User Group: this session provided the latest need-to-know information about recent developments in this area and revealed how to get the most from CAIS data
Some of the key issues that were explored during the Summit included: how to start lending more whilst retaining the quality of new business, how to manage exposure on existing customers, and how to optimise the use of collections resources.
Presentations from the day are available to CAIS members. To request a copy, or for further information on the Summit, please complete your details below:
