Experian QAS has recently become involved with a charity called CHICKS (Country Holidays for Inner City Kids), which provides disadvantaged children with a free holiday in the countryside.

CHICKS - Giving children the chance to be children

CHICKS provide disadvantaged children with a free break away in the countryside at one of their centres in Devon or Cornwall.

The children CHICKS help are those growing up in poverty, who have been abused, neglected, in care, and children of prisoners, as well as those who are young carers for their sick or disabled parents. All of the children that CHICKS help would not otherwise get the opportunity to benefit from some respite away from their circumstances or enjoy a 'holiday'. Many are missing out on positive childhood experiences, have nothing to look forward to, and have little hope for the future.
