The Bereavement register definition

Definition :
The Bereavement Register was set up in 2000 in the UK as a centralised register of a death. It was introduced as a way to prevent direct mailing and communications to be sent to that person.

By checking this Bereavement register, organisations will be able to prevent unwanted mailings to deceased individuals. This not only works as a customer service check, but also reduces unnecessary mailings and costs.

Suppressing your databases and contact data against such data sets will enable you to remove deceased names and make your data more accurate and correct.
