PAF Licence changes definition
Definition :
The Postcode Address File (PAF) licence has changed. PAF now supports more than postal deliveries, now playing a crucial part in identity verification, GIS mapping and customer management.
PAF licence changes are deemed necessary. The PAF licence changes mean additional liabilities for heavier users of the file, while those who use it less will pay less.
One of the challenges that the Royal Mail face is allowing for the PAF licence to incorporate franchises, corporate licensing and subsidiary models. As well as having to consider bureaux, public sector usage and broker networks.
