Online recruitment site benefits from new data strategy

An online recruitment agency is reaping the benefits of an upgrade in its digital data strategy, reports Online Recruitment.

Reed has seen an increase in new users and applications since launching its new website, reed.co.uk, last month (December 2008).

The state-of-the-art website features an array of new features including access to the most active CV database in the UK.

Martin Warnes, managing director of reed.co.uk, told the news provider: "[It] is a mature and established online recruitment website and optimising the experience for our users and the efficiency of our service becomes ever more challenging.

"So improving user activity by as much as 10% is a great achievement and one that will help deliver real benefits to the recruitment agencies and direct employers using our services."

The employment website, reed.co.uk, was launched in 1995 and is visited by 45,000 job seekers each day who are able to access job advertisements from at least 9,000 employers.
