'Being on placement at QAS has given me a real taste of the working life and I love it! I have enjoyed the level of responsibility you are given from the get go. This experience has amplified my drive to excel in performance in my final year; to come out into the working world having achieved the best I can.'

'My technical knowledge has vastly developed along with my confidence in communicating with staff internally and also individuals external to the company. You are able to tackle the challenges with the extensive training that you receive from individuals from all over the business.'

'It's purely been an enjoyable experience and has given me direction for the next stages of my life!'

QAS has been a huge learning curve; I was thrown into the role of talking to real customers within two weeks of starting and have always been provided with help and support throughout the whole process. Choosing to work for QAS is one of the best decisions I have made because I have learnt so much in such little time and I am now fully aware of what to expect when I start applying for graduate roles.

The best thing about working here is how friendly everyone is, always happy to help and I have made some great friends who I will keep in touch with once I return to university. I will definitely miss the working environment, the banter I have with my team and the relaxed atmosphere.

'I like the way QAS employees are so easily approachable and sociable. Within a couple of weeks of joining the business, I was meeting many staff outside of work for meals, drinks, games of badminton and squash.'

'QAS is giving me a great insight into the working world and at the same time providing me with opportunities to develop my current skills and also gain new ones.'

'A huge benefit the placement will bring to my studies will be to help me work more hours when I return in my final year, working over 40 hours some weeks makes you realise you could do so much more studying at Uni! Another key thing for me is that it will add real value on my CV, showing that I'm employable and also demonstrating that I've already applied things I've studied into real working situations.'

'QAS is quite a large well known company, but at the same time small enough to build up a good working network across different departments. There is also the chance to get involved in different projects once you are on top of all your personal responsibilities.'

'The level of support from members of the team has been great; everyone is extremely friendly and more than willing to help with any issue. I know I'll gain skills that employers look for, not just technical skills but also skills of how to interact and socialise within a working environment.'

'During training sessions the trainers always want to make sure that they get their points across clearly, and that we have understood everything they go through. They also encourage us to ask for help with anything, even if its weeks after the training session.'
