Job Summary:
The Programme Manager at QAS reports to the Head of Project Management and is responsible for managing a designated programme; initially this programme will be "Radar" but in the future, assignments could be changed.
Project Radar:
Project Radar is Experian QAS's code name the programme to define and deliver a new, global contact data management platform. The programme is currently in its planning stages and the successful candidate will be instrumental in its success.
Project Radar is a multi-million dollar investment and is looking to drive significant incremental business growth for Experian QAS by effectively meeting the needs of the contact data management market across the globe.
The success of this role will be highly dependant on the successful delivery of the programme assigned to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of the programme (initially Project
Radar) outputs to specification, on time and to budget
- Chair the Programme Board meetings
- Manage the entire Programme Plan with any associated Project
Streams
- Create and maintain a communication plan with stakeholders of the
programme
- Work with the Head of Global Product Management to ensure the
successful delivery of the Programme and participate to any
relevant meetings (i.e. Global Product Board)
- Work with other Programme / Project Managers who are working on
related projects / programmes to the current programme being
managed
- Manage and track cost vs. budget for the programme / s
assigned
- Report on key KPIs for the programme (i.e. on time, budget,
scope, etc. as specified by the QAS PMO lead by the HPjM)
Skills Required:
- Degree qualified (2:1 in a numerate subject) or equivalent
qualifications
- Experience delivering large programmes geographically
located
- Experience of working in a distributed software development
environment
- Strong people management skills including leadership, motivation,
coaching, etc.
- Experience of working with agile development methodologies
- Exceptional relationship-building skills spanning multiple
geographies, time zones and organisational cultures
- Excellent communicator with an articulate, personable,
professional and persuasive presentation style
- Strong organisational ability within a pressured, dynamic
environment
- Excellent decision-making skills and problem solving
abilities
- Creativity in thinking of new programme management methods
- Initiative and ability to demonstrate a pro-active approach to
tasks
- Keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and
/ or any other PPM tool
