The Government Sales team is responsible for all new business sales into UK Government, the largest Experian QAS vertical. The team works closely with our Alliances team with includes our relationships with Application Partner providers and Systems Integrators. There are two sales teams in the department. This profile has been written for a Key Account Manager role. Additionally the department has a Government Sales team who have responsibility for selling across the whole of Central and Local Government and Healthcare.

Role & Key Responsibilities:

As Key Account Manager - Central Government, your primary goal is to ensure that you achieve your annual sales target. You hold the responsibility of developing and maintaining effective account plans, and have healthy long-term relationships with our key Central Government accounts. These accounts are essential to our continued success as they typically involve large projects across the authority. You will be expected to provide valuable input to the most senior Government Sales Team around market developments and initiatives in Central Government.

Responsibilities:

  • Consistent over achievement of sales target.
  • Developing and executing effective sales and account plans.
  • Proving valuable input to the most senior Government Sales Team and monthly team meetings.
  • Responsibility for the expansion of Experian QAS's product portfolio across your Central Government accounts by identification of product fits, positioning and sales
  • Liaising with the wider Experian QAS organisation and providing support as required e.g. Customer Account Management, Finance, Marketing.
  • Work alongside the Alliances team to help drive new business sales into your accounts.

Skills required:

  • Proven Software sales skills
  • Clear evidence of over achieving sales targets
  • Evidence of working alongside a partner channel sales team
  • Degree qualification (ideally 2.2 or above), or equivalent qualifications
