Graduates
Graduate recruitment focuses on 2 main entry streams:
Sales
Our Graduate Sales Programme is tailored to develop motivated and enthusiastic graduates into senior sales people and Sales Managers of the future.
We provide graduates with a high basic package and an attainable OTE. The targets and salary both rapidly increase through the 3 stage programme, and promotion is based on ability. However as a general rule, you can expect to spend around 2 years in internal sales before joining the field sales team.
We pride ourselves on our record of organic growth, which can be demonstrated by the fact that 90% of our current direct field sales and business partner teams have been recruited internally.
All new starters receive internal training from their sales managers and our Training Manager, and external sales training, given by Gazing Performance. For more information, please see our training section.
Stage 1
As a graduate, you will begin the 3 stage programme as a Telebusiness Executive. You will be focused on retaining, and expanding where possible, our existing customer base through the renewal of annual software licences. You are also responsible for contacting prospect customers and booking meetings for our more senior sales people.
This develops an understanding of key market fits as well as giving you exposure across a number of departments around the business.
Stage 2
You will then move into a Telesales Account Manager role, an internally based position with a monthly target of £6,000 margin. Target is achieved by adhering to a set structure and proven disciplines that are based upon quality daily proactive telephone calling to identify prospects and develop sales opportunities.
At this stage you are responsible for managing circa 350 customer accounts, as well as generating new business opportunities. This will allow you to develop excellent product knowledge and to have a clear understanding of the sales cycle.
Stage 3
You will now have the experience to become an Internal Business Partner Account Manager. At this stage your monthly target is £20,000, you are attending external meetings and seeking to identify and qualify a number of new Business Partners for QAS each month.
By the end of Stage 3 you will have excellent product knowledge and an innate understanding of the QAS Contact Data Management proposal. With this knowledge, you will be able to complete the programme and move into a field sales role, developing and enhancing our relationship with a named group of Customer accounts.
With competitive salaries, an excellent benefits package and a unique learning environment, QAS really is an exciting company to start your sales career with.
Technical
There are several graduate entry technical roles within Experian QAS. These include roles such as a Test Engineer or a Web Developer. All you need to have is a numerate, scientific or IT related degree, strong A Levels in similar subjects and a passion for your chosen technical area. From these entry level positions we train and support our staff to develop their careers and enable them to progress into management within their entry area, go on to specialise in a chosen field, or move to a different technical department.
Training is ongoing, and specifically tailored to each role, although our study-support policy supports those who wish to study a relevant accreditation in a relevant field. For more information on training, please see our training section.
Graduate salaries are competitive and this along with our benefits package is an exciting way to start your technical career with Experian QAS.
Please note that all our technical vacancies are located at our headquarters in Clapham, London.
