  • Research shows data quality won't take care of itself

    - Marketing Week, 26/2/13

    Based on the recent Global Research Whitepaper, Data Advantage report 2013, coverage was gained in Marketing Week magazine highlighting the importance of data quality amongst businesses. The article highlights that 99 per cent of respondents in the UK, US and France now have some sort of data quality strategy in place, yet 94 per cent also say that their databases suffer from common errors, calling into question just what counts as a data strategy for most organisations.

  • Experian DQP takes on big data

    Following the announcement of the new Experian Data Quality Platform, Decision Marketing magazine covered the news by highlighting that The Experian DQP combines data profiling with the ability to discover relationships and uncover inconsistencies across all data. The article quoted Experian Data Quality managing director Joel Curry: “The emergence of ‘Big Data’ and the mounting pressures facing businesses today from regulation and compliance to cost efficiency and customer retention means that organisations are paying more attention to their data quality."

  • Experian Data Quality launches data quality platform

    In early January, Experian Data Quality announced the new Experian Data Quality Platform. The article featured in Database Marketing magazine highlights the key benefits of the new platform, such as allowing organisations to assign a monetary value to data quality issues as well as the ability to handle large data volumes while giving up-to-date statistics using key reference data unique to Experian.
